Relic Cards
There isn’t a lot to find in the way of relic cards in 2020 Topps Chrome, but what can be found is admittedly pretty fun! Retro Rookie Chrome Relics are chromium remakes of rookie cards from the past now with a swatch of game-used jersey added. There are a few parallel versions: Green (/99), Orange (/25), Red (/5) and Superfractors (1/1). There are even a few autograph versions! Retro Rookie Chrome Relics can only be found in hobby packs.
Inserts
Topps continues its 1985 flashback series started in 2020 Series 1 and 2, but now with chrome versions of the classic design. As with the Series 1 and 2 cards, 1985 Topps Baseball (1:6) are retro cards featuring current players.
Freshman Flash (1:12) and Future Stars (1:8) focus on this year’s rookies. Available Refractor Parallels for these and the 1985 Topps Baseball inserts include Green (/99), Gold (/50), Orange (/25), Red (/5) and Superfractors (1/1). There are also autograph versions of select cards, featuring Orange (/25), Red (/5), Printing Plate (1/1), and Superfractor (1/1) parallels
Continuing to highlight past players who dominated in specific areas of the game, 2020 Topps Chrome includes Decades of Dominance Die Cut insert cards, which can be found one per hobby box on average. They have a similar Refractor distribution as base cards.
