What is a raffle?
Raffles are similar to a lottery system. Rather than making our customers rush to checkout, we draw the names of customers who are interested in purchasing a limited and high-demand product. This way, we can provide a fair and random chance for all our customers to participate in these releases. Please note that these raffles provide an opportunity to purchase these items and are not intended to be giveaways.
Why do you do raffles?
At Zephyr Epic, we believe that the products we sell should be available at a great price for all our customers. However, the growing demand for and scarcity of upcoming TCG releases has challenged us on this. To uphold our standards of accessibility, we introduced a raffle system so all our interested customers have the opportunity to purchase high-demand releases. Additionally, our raffle system limits the impact bots and other malicious actors have on our ability to offer these products to our loyal customers.
How does the raffle system prevent bots and other malicious actors from purchasing?
Aside from setting purchase limits, CAPTCHA verification, and physical screening of entries, we use two primary filters to prevent bots and malicious actors from participating.
During the submission process, we require users to create an account, manually select the items they wish to purchase, and complete all required fields on the entry form. These manual steps help ensure that entries are submitted by real individuals.
During winner selection, we identify and flag multiple entries submitted from the same IP address or shipping address. This helps us isolate and disqualify suspicious or duplicate entries.
These layered security measures work together to protect the integrity of the process and ensure a fair experience for all participants.

Can I visit the store to purchase a release you're raffling for?
Unless announced otherwise, you are more than welcome to visit our store to purchase an item on its in-store availability date. Please note that in-store purchases for these items are done on a first-come, first-served basis, so we cannot guarantee that we will have stock for all our customers. Although we strive to help our customers as efficiently as possible, please expect to wait in-line, especially for highly anticipated releases.
When I try to log-in, it says that I'm locked out of the site (Code 503).
This lockout error usually occurs when someone attempts to log-in with an email account that isn’t registered with us, or uses an invalid password. We recommend signing up for a new account with the email address you tried to use. This is a great way to check if you have an account with us as you won’t be able to make two accounts with the same email address. If you are sure that you have an account with us, please contact us and we can investigate further.
I received multiple invoices, but not all of the products are appearing in my cart.
If you receive multiple invoices for a raffle, please do not open them at the same time. Open one invoice and complete its payment. After that payment is complete, you can open the next invoice and complete its payment. If multiple invoices are open at the same time, you will lose access to any products from those additional invoices.
Do I have to pay for shipping if I won multiple products for the same raffle?
In most cases, we will try to combine raffle orders together for our customers who won multiple products. Please note that this is not guaranteed as it is dependent on the amount of orders our warehouse needs to process. If you had to pay for shipping because one of your orders didn’t meet our free shipping minimum ($50 before taxes), please contact us.
Can I add non-raffle items to my cart along with the item I was selected for?
We do not recommend adding non-raffle items to your cart if there’s a raffle item present. In the past, we’ve had some customers have their raffle invoices invalidated because of this. If you would like to purchase non-raffle items, please complete the payment for your invoice first then place a separate order.
When I submit my raffle entry, the page says “Link Expired.” What should I do?
We recommend that you sign out of your account on all devices and browsers. Then, please clear your browser cache, and use an incognito or private window to log on to your account. Alternatively, please use a different browser or device in private mode to enter the raffle.
When I open my invoice, it says the item is out of stock and I can't add it to my cart.
If this happens, please contact us as soon as possible. In most cases, our web management team will need to issue you a new invoice. Rest assured, your raffle spot is secure, and your item will remain reserved for you until you’re able to successfully complete your order.
I can't fill in my first and last name on the form.
Though the first and last name fields should autofill when you are logged into your account, they’re not necessary to submit your entry. The necessary information we need will be noted with a red asterisk. As long as you have those fields filled, you should be able to submit your raffle entry.
When I’m signed in to my account I can’t access the raffle page.
We recommend that you sign out of your account on all devices and browsers. Then, please clear your browser cache, and use an incognito or private window to log on to your account. Alternatively, please use a different browser or device in private mode to enter the raffle.
Can you combine my raffle order with a regular order?
No, we are unable to combine a raffle order with regular orders after they are placed on our website.
Do you ship outside of Canada?
No, we do not currently ship outside Canada.
