Product Description

Thundrik’s Profiteers are a tooled up, gun-toting bunch of treasure seekers trapped in Shadespire. These doughty duardin boast more firepower than any other warband in Shadespire, and they will stop at nothing to find their skyvessel and escape the Mirrored City with the treasure they have bagged! The fighters of Thundrik’s Profiteers are for the most part slow, but as each of them has a ranged attack your opponent will not have an easy time avoiding you.

Your profiteers can stage a steady advance across the battlefield as you unleash fusillade after fusillade and capture objectives. The more successful you are, the better your fighters will get, thanks to the warband’s unique Inspire mechanic: whenever you score an objective (as long as the boss, Thundrik, is on the battlefield) you choose and inspire a friendly fighter, making them faster, tougher and more deadly. The warband is led by Bjorgen Thundrik, an Aether-Chemist with a nose for aether-gold. He carries an Atmospheric Anatomiser, a device that can spew lethal gases at range and, when he’s Inspired, do horrific damage to an opponent.

His able seconds are Dead-eye Lund, a sniping Grundstock Thunderer whose aethershot rifle is the perfect answer to heavily armoured foes, and Khazgan Drakkskewer, an airborne warrior with a skypike who is the warband’s most mobile and best up-close fighter. The warband’s gunline is completed by Enrik Ironhail, with his powerful volley gun, and Garodd Alensen, a swashbuckling and ambitious Arkanaut. With this warband you will find that you are rewarded for picking your goals and sticking to them – move with purpose, pick your targets with care and focus your firepower!
